The Sacred Geometry of Stillness

For Syannu, Dot Mandala is more than a technique — it is a meditative journey inward. Each session begins with a single, deliberate dot at the centre, and from that stillness, concentric circles radiate outward with rhythmic precision, carrying intention, energy, and meaning in every mark.

As the dots accumulate and patterns take form, time slows. The mind finds a rare quiet — the kind that comes not from silence but from complete absorption in the present. Each circle reflects the sacred geometry of nature: the growth of a flower, the ripple of water, the orbit of celestial bodies.

Syannu invites you to pause, breathe, and find your own centre within the intricate layers of her work. Every piece is a visual heartbeat — a map of peace rendered in vibrant, intentional colour.

Her Story

From the First Dot Forward

2022The First Circle

Syannu encountered dot mandala art during a particularly restless period of her life. Placing the first dot at the centre of a blank page felt, she recalls, like dropping an anchor. Everything else followed naturally from that stillness.

2023Finding the Sacred Pattern

Drawn to the mathematics of sacred geometry — the spiral of a nautilus, the hexagonal logic of a honeycomb — Syannu began weaving these natural structures into her mandalas, discovering that precision and beauty are not opposites but partners.

2024First Showcase

Syannu exhibited her work publicly for the first time at a community art fair. The response was immediate and warm. Several pieces were commissioned on the spot, and a collector described her work as 'a visual prayer you can hang on your wall.'

PresentA Growing Practice

Now working full-time with Hastakala, Syannu creates both intimate personal pieces and large-scale installations. She also facilitates weekly dot mandala sessions, where participants experience the meditative power of the form firsthand.
